Who is responsible?
Mijn Taxiritten B.V., trading as Taxistad Almere, is responsible for the processing described below. Dutch Chamber of Commerce number: 99049406; VAT number: NL868767220B01.
Contact
For questions about your personal data, contact Taxistad Almere, Schieland 22, 8245 GH Lelystad, Netherlands, at info@taxistadalmere.nl or +31 36 234 00 34.
Data we use
To calculate, book and operate journeys, we use your name, email address, phone number, account and language preferences, pickup and destination addresses, stops, date, time, passenger count and vehicle choice. We also process booking references, payment status, invoice details and messages or instructions you provide. Where a flight is linked to an airport pickup, we use its details to plan collection.
Technical data such as IP addresses, sessions and error reports support operation and security. App notifications use a device token. If someone books for you, they provide the necessary passenger details. Tell passengers you book for about this statement. Do not include national identification numbers, medical records or unnecessary sensitive information in messages.
Why we use data
We use necessary contact and journey details to provide quotes, fulfil bookings, assign drivers and process payments, changes and cancellations. This is necessary to enter into and perform the contract. Financial records also meet statutory accounting obligations. For security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and complaints, we balance our legitimate interests against your privacy. You can withdraw consent for optional features that require it.
Recipients
The relevant driver and planner receive the information needed for your journey. We use MijnTaxiritten for planning and app functions, Mollie for payments, Jortt for invoicing, hosting and email providers, Google for addresses and routes, and Apple/Google for mobile notifications. The telephone service processes necessary telephone details when you call using a masked number. You enter payment details with the payment provider; we receive payment status and a transaction reference.
Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers require appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or European standard contractual clauses. Ask us which providers and safeguards apply to your data. We disclose data to competent authorities where legally required.
Website, app and pricing
Cookies and local storage support login, bookings and preferences. The app may retain the origin of a campaign or advertisement link locally for up to 30 days and include it with a booking. Non-essential tracking requiring consent must be preceded by a choice. You can clear browser storage and disable phone notifications; this does not cancel a journey.
Prices are calculated automatically from the route, vehicle and applicable rates. You see the price before booking and can contact us with questions about a calculation.
Retention
We retain data only as needed for services, accounting, security and disputes. Automatic cleanup normally uses 730 days for operational journey data, 365 days for messages and booking events, and 90 days for closed technical sessions and records covered by cleanup. Financial records are normally kept for seven years where statutory accounting duties require it. Account details remain while the account is needed. Deletion requests do not remove data still required for ongoing journeys or legal obligations. Recovery copies are not reused for ordinary services and expire as those copies are replaced.
Your rights and security
We use secure connections and access restrictions. You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@taxistadalmere.nl with enough information to identify your account or booking. Do not send an identity document unless requested; we may verify your identity appropriately.
We normally respond within one month and tell you within that month if an extension is necessary. You can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Updates are published here with a new date.
